WEATHER ALERT/EMERGENCY SCHOOL CLOSING
1. In the event of a severe storm or other emergency requiring the closing of school, you will receive a recorded message and an email from the Superintendent or designee.
2. Notice will be posted on the district website homepage under "Announcements".
3. PLEASE DO NOT TELEPHONE THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR INFORMATION REGARDING SCHOOL CLOSINGS.
4. In the case of inclement weather and no announcement is made that school is closed, parents/guardians are advised to use their own judgment as to whether or not their children should be sent to school or picked up from school before dismissal time. It is the general policy to keep our school open once the school day has started.
At times the opening of school will be delayed in the event of bad weather. You will receive a recorded message from the Superintendent or designee. For a delayed opening, staff members and teachers will report at 9:30 AM., and students will report at 9:50 AM.
At times the school will be closing early in the event of bad weather. You will receive a recorded message from the Superintendent or designee. For a early dismissal, students will be dismissed at 12:42 PM. Staff members and teachers will be dismissed at 1:00 PM.
