    KINDERGARTEN TECH TIPS & Keyboarding

                   In Kindergarten, students learn how to be safe when on the computer.

                                  The major rules are:                        

                         1.  DO NOT GO ONLINE without an adult’s permission.
     
                         2.  If playing a game and a box pops-up, DO NOT TO OPEN it.  
                              Click the X in the corner of the box. This will close the box.  
     
                         3.  Computers an get sick. We do not want to spread a virus.
     
                         4.  Do not be mean to anyone and if you see something that makes you uncomfortable
                              be sure to tell an adult.
     
        Beyond safety, the students will learn how to use a mouse and login to their computer.
    They will learn how to spell haworth.org,  then open to log in.
    They will then learn how to navigate around a webpage.

    They will review and match letters with their corresponding sounds and read some sight words.
