Hi! My name is Mrs. Talty.  This will be my 19th year teaching at Haworth Public School! I spent the last 17 years teaching 5th grade. This is my 2nd year teaching Kindergarten. 

I grew up just a few towns away in River Edge, New Jersey.  I graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Finance. I later received a Masters in Education from St. Peter's College. 

I absolutely love teaching and all the exploring, learning and fun that comes with it. I have always enjoyed working with students and had the desire to teach ever since I was young. I have been: a babysitter, camp counselor, soccer, basketball and softball coach, tutor, and a Big Sister Youth Mentor. 

When I am not teaching or planning exciting things for us to do at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. Mr. Talty and I have 4 children. Their names are Shaelyn, James, Eamon and Cian. Shaelyn is 11, James is 10, Eamon is 9, and Cian is 5 years old. I love watching them grow! We also have a dog named Charlie.   

I am looking forward to a great year and learning more about each and every one of my new students!
