Curriculum:
In compliance with the core curriculum content standards for
World Language, the Seventh & Eighth grade program encompasses
spoken and written communication. The textbook used is "Bienvenido"
by Glencoe.
One third of the grade is based on a chapter
test and exam scores. One third is based on chapter quizzes,
written assignments and projects. One third of the grade is based
on daily oral participation.
Check the rubrics for speaking tests and
written assignments. These are usually administered at the end
of each chapter.
This program is Level 1 Spanish, and upon
successful completion, the students may go to Level 2 Spanish
at Northern Valley Regional High School.
